Sunday Coffee Club #002
Ah, hey, didn’t see you there. This article I’m reading about the rise of wellness apps is pretty captivating. After I finish this, I think I may enjoy some toast with a little butter and jam on it.
Apologies for my absence last week. Truth be told, The Sunday Coffee Club isn’t very strict about our schedule. It’s an open-door policy. You can sit down and relax with a nice book, or you can grab a cup to go. We don’t discriminate.
A hearty “Happy Easter” to all of you out there who celebrate it. My plans are fairly simple — having brunch with some family, watching the Manchester United game around 1:30 p.m. CST, all before settling down for the evening and having dinner with my very-pregnant wife.
What’s on the menu, you ask? That’s a great question. We’ve got some fresh-made Central Market pasta in the fridge that’s begging to get cooked, but I’m going to let Sally make the ultimate decision.
You didn’t think you’d get out of here without finding out what coffee I’m drinking, did you? Today we’re going with a staple — Starbucks Pike Place Roast. They describe it as follows: “A smooth, well-rounded blend of Latin American coffees with subtly rich flavors of cocoa and toasted nuts, it’s perfect for every day.”
I describe it as… well, pretty good coffee 😎 See everyone next Sunday. Maybe.
