FRIDAY MORNING

It’s a generally accepted 8-9am wakeup nursing a minor hangover you’ll be able to shed by noon. By no means debilitating, you’re more or less taking this part of the day to patch up any wounds and recharge the batteries for the weekend ahead when the crew is at 100%. 

If you’re at the house in Westlake, it’s the perfect opportunity to jump in the pool and scroll Instagram (or Hinge) while everyone gets their feet under them. It’s also the perfect opportunity to be eggs, bacon, and toast guy. Keep it simple and the guys will be complimenting your scrambies as if they were done by Bobby Flay. 

If you’re not in the mood to have pans sitting around untouched all day, round up the crew because it’s breakfast taco time in Austin, TX. 

I’m not going to be the guy that labels one breakfast taco spot the king of the city. The truth is they’re all fine. They all give you some combination of eggs, cheese, and meat on a tortilla with extras like salsa, jalapenos, onions, and guac. Easy to be more than decent. 

You could go to one of the options that pop up on every website, but this isn’t the time to spend a lot of energy on getting somewhere. Quick google for “breakfast tacos” and hit the closest spot to you. A few of those and a coffee you’re geared up for the rest of your Friday which will continue with a few different options...
